(Genesis 12:2) Joseph, the favored son betrayed by his own brothers, faced trials that would break many. From the depths of slavery and prison, God elevated him to the heights of power in Egypt. When he interpreted dreams, he saved nations from famine, embodying resilience and divine purpose. “The Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love.” (Genesis 39:21) Moses was chosen to lead a nation from bondage to freedom. Imagine his encounter with God at the burning bush! The man who parted the Red Sea and received the Ten Commandments was a bridge from slavery to divine law. “I have made you like God to Pharaoh.” (Exodus 7:1) David, the shepherd turned king, was a warrior, poet, and man after God’s own heart. His psalms still resonate with our deepest emotions, reminding us of our struggles and triumphs. “The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart.” (1 Samuel 13:14) Solomon, blessed with wisdom and wealth, built the First Temple, a glorious testament to faith. His discerning mind and royal splendor became legendary. “I give you a wise and discerning mind.”(1 Kings 3:12)
